ICASCE 2012, Where Researchers of Science and Engineering Gather

At least 100 participants from all over the world gathered at the Auditorium of Anggrek Campus of BINUS UNIVERSITY for the International Conference on Advances Science and Contemporary Engineering (ICASCE) 2012. The event, which took place in October 24-25, 2012, brought together the academics, researchers and students.

Participants came from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, India, Iran, Pakistan, Tunisia, French, Germany, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea and Australia. 70 percent of them were foreigners.

In addition to the seminars presented by several keynote speakers, in this event the participants also presented their research results which will be published in procedia engineering journal (Elsevier) with ISBN/ISSN number. In addition to that, their work will also be indexed in Ei Compendex, Engineering Index and SCOPUS.

“Meetings like these are very important because there is always something new in engineering every month. We also want to publish their paper on a good index journal. In addition to that, we want to show that BINUS is very determined to be a world-class university,” explained the Research Coordinator of BINUS Graduate Program Dr. Ford Lumban Gaol.
